What is a School Profile?
A School Profile is an at-a-glance, highly detailed report  of various facts and figures for the school.
Each School Profile includes:
- Demographic figures; including number of students enrolled, attendance rates, language proficiency levels, and socioeconomic status
- Staff information; such as years of teaching and credentialing status
- Four years of STAR data!
Why would anyone want this information?
The data provided in a School Profile allows schools and districts to re-evaluate, using factual data, their assumptions, as well as subsequent policies and behaviors, as they affect different groups of students, therefore increasing the potential for increased student achievement.
Armed with a School Profile, school and district staff has the ability to pave the way for significant, well-informed, school reform — reform that will raise student achievement in the target content areas.
